Job Requirements:
We're looking for a front-end developer with a strong technical background and programming abilities that is ready to take a lead Frontend Developer role. Most of your time will be spent on coding however you will also take responsibility for frontend task delivery together with the product owner. You will join our small but growing web frontend dev team and will have direct input into new hires.
Pre-Requisites:
- 5+ years of professional experience in programming with at least 4-years in frontend
- Strong proficiency ReactJS
- Ability to lead R&D initiatives
- Ability to guide teammates and structure key tasks
- A burning desire to develop amazing products with the tenacity to go the extra 5% to make it shine!
- A passion for gaming
Experience with any of the following is not necessary but is a plus:
- GraphQL
- CI/CD workflows
- Rust
- Git
- Elixir
- Gaming or esports
- A BSc/MSc/PhD degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required.
Key contributions:
You will take a key role in building out our web-based products predominantly targeted at the consumer market. Joining our talented development team you will help deliver awesome tech to the esports market for the millions of esports players and fans around the world.
Key areas of success in this role are:
- Delivery of high-end code and logic in our core tech stack to ensure a high-end user experience and scalable product
- Effectively estimating together with the development team to ensure we deliver on our roadmap and milestones
- Taking responsibility for achieving our frontend development targets (roadmap)
- Taking a the team lead role for frontend development and helping team members achieve a high level of quality output through good management practices and technical input.
